The 2010 Beatport Music Awards are here! Normally, I don't enjoy award ceremonies, because they highlight the mainstream and not the talented. However! When the award ceremony is for a niche that is far from mainstream, it becomes Not So Bad.

Interesting to note is the "Best Indie Dance Artist" category, as none of the artists are "indie" (I suppose a few of them own their own labels, so maybe they are) nor are they "dance" (what the fuck does "dance" even entail?). All solid choices, no doubt; I wouldn't put it past you if you picked blindly from a paper bag.
